RCCAR

The 1st annual ROCK Climbing Center Adventure Race (How did I get lost in a canyon?)

Description: RCCAR will start in the parking lot south of hwy 24 on 31st street. The gear you start with will be carried throughout the race. Racers are responsible for all their food and water on the course. Biking helmets are required and must be worn at all the roped events as well as when biking. There will be plenty of downhill which means plenty of uphill. The terrain ranges from roads to very technical/rocky. The whole course will be orienteered using clues, riddles and compasses. Awards and prizes/raffle prizes will be held right after the race in conjunction with the Red Rock Redpoint climbing competition which will be held the same day in Red Rock Canyon. Low priced good beers and snacks will be available at the awards.
